Shree Ganesh Utsav
With the blessings and inspiration of Pujya Guruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriydasji Swami and guidance of Pujya Purani shree Balkrushnadasji Swami, various festivals of Sanatan Dharma are celebrated at all campuses of SGVP Gurukul Parivar.
On the auspicious day of Shree Ganesh Chaturthi, 19 September, 2023 Sthapana of a beautiful Murti of Shree Ganeshji was performed at SGVP along with shodshopchar Poojan (worship with 16 kinds of SEVA) and Shree Ganesh Yag by Pandits and Rushikumars of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay.
During Shree Ganesh Mahotsav, on 23 September, 2023 Maha-arati and Annakut was organized by Dharmajivanam Hostel students. And a Murti making competition ‘Mati thi Murti sudhi’ was also arranged and students experienced the art of making eco-friendly Murti from soil and natural colours.
In the end of festival, Murti Visarjan was performed in the nearby pond.
