Diwali – 2018

Along with the various religious festivals Deepavali was celebrated enthusiastically by Gurukul Pariavar in the holy presence of Guruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Pujya Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami.
Starting from auspicious day of Ekadashi Dt. 04 Nov 2018 daily saints, students & devotees participated with zeal in Utsav Kirtan Bhakti everyday evening.

On the day of Dhan Terash, birth day of Bhagwan Dhanvantari – God of medicine, 05 Nov. 2018, Dhanvantari Yag was organized by renowned Ayurveda Vaidyas of Holistic hospital and from the city Ahmedabad & surrounding area.
Pujya Swamiji blessed all participants explaining the importance of Ayurveda in present time.
Anant Chaturdashi, Day of influence of Shree Hanumanji to thrust out the evil spirits of surrounding & vicious nature from the mind. In the morning Shree Hanumanji Poojan was performed at Gurukul Ahmedabad and Maruti yag organised at Shree Hamuman Temple, SGVP.

Auspicious day of Deepavali was started with Laxmi-Poojan & Chopada Poojan. Pujya Swamiji and Pujya Purani Swami blessed all devotees for prosperous future.
It was followed by the marvelous Annakut Darshan offered to Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Laxminarayan Dev & Shree Narnarayan Dev at Gurukul Ahmedabad.

Evening event of Deepotsav was full of light, devotion and pleasure. Event was decorated as described in the Vcachanamrut of Deepavali. Devotees enjoyed the Deepavali Kirtanbhakti. It was followed by Maha-Aarati with five materials representing the five basic elements (Panch-Bhut) of the universe, viz land, water, fire, air and space.
New year: beginning of Samvant 2075
Saints and devotees mutually wished a prosperous, devotional & healthy New Year, with the blessings of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan.

Along with few saints and devotees Pujya Purani Shree Balkrisjhnadasji Swami celebrated the New Year at divine feet of Bhagwan Muktinath at Pulhashram, Nepal a great shrine where once Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan had observed Tapascharya during these days.
