Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav – Rangpur ( 23 to 24 Jan -2008)

Rangpur (Dist : Amreli) a very fortunate village with the grace of Sadguru Shree Balmukunddasaji Swami. In the same succession Pujyapad Shatriji Maharaj, Sadguru Shastri Shree Dharmaprasaddasji Swami (Khambha Gurukul) and Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji have showered there grace and nourished the Satsang of village Rangpur. Recently a new temple is constructed under the guidance of AN Bhandari Swami Shree Hariprasaddasji Swami with the generous support of the villagers and NRIs of Rangpur at USA.
A Pratishtha Mahotsav was arranged during January 23-24, 2008 in the holy presence of PPDD Acharya Maharajshree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj.
Occasion was adorned with Shree Maha-Vishnu Yag, Group Mahapooja and Satsang Gyan-Yagna. The orators of this Gyan-Yagna were Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavapriyadasji Swami, Sadguru Purani Shree Gyanswarupdasji Swami and Purani Shree Krishnapriyadasji Swami.
On January 23, morning Shree Mahavishnu Yag was initiated with the ritual of Agni-sthapan by the holy hands of Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Pujya Shastri Shree Madhavdasji Swami (Una Gurukul).
Simultaneously group Mahapooja was arranged at place of assembly . Yagmans and other devotees took part in this group Mahapooja. In the morning session, Purani Shree Krishnapriyadasji Swami narrated discourses on Bhakta-Chintamani.
At noon, assembly of Mahila-manch was arranged in the holy presence of Sankhya-yogi Shree Lila Ba from Shree Swaminarayan Mahila Sanskar Kendra – Amreli. Along with inspiring preaching Sankhya-Yogies blessed the followers.
Evening session was started with the discourses of Sadguru Shastri Shree Mahdhavapriyadasji Swami on the divine importance of great saints.
It was followed by a warm welcome to PPDD Acharya Maharajshree and a grand Nagar-Yatra of Thakorji. Villagers decorated bullock carts & tractors and a long procession was carried out with bike riders, crackers and gunshots.
Shree Pravinbhai Bhagawanbhai Vora (US) took the privilege for the Ratri-Vas (one of the rituals of Pratishtha consisting night hold of Thakorji in grains, flowers etc) of Thakorji at his home. 
In the last session of the day, students from Gurukul Taravada presented cultural programmes.
January 24, the day was started with the Vedic ritual of Pran-Prtishtha at Temple. Along with PPDD Acharya Maharajshree saints and Yajmans participated in worship. PPDD Acharya Maharajshree performed the Praishtha-vidhi along with Vedic and scriptural recitations.
Annakut was offered and Acharyashree performed the first Aarati of Pratishtha. The entire atmosphere was filled with the great Jay-Nad of Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan. Pleasure of all was knew no bounds.
It was continued with the discourses of Sadguru Purani Shree Gyanswarupadasji Swami on importance of temple. Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami and Pujya Shree Harivallabhadasji Swami (Kotharishree, Junagadh Temple) delivered the occasional speech. Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami also explained the eminence of divine relation between Acharya & saints. In the end, PPDD Acharya Maharajshree blessed Yajmans and graced all saints and devotees with their blessings.
Subsequently, Maharajshree and elder saints offered the last Aahuti in the Mahaishanu Yag and performed the Aarti.
Pujya Kothari Swami Shree Harijivandasji Swami, Sadguru Purani Shree Shreeharidasji Swami, Pujya Shastri Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami (Mantra-pith, Fareni), Pujya Shree Siddhavallabhdasji Swami (Kotharishree, Una Mandir) also graced the Mahotsav with their holy presence.
Dignitaries like Shree D G Zalavadiya (Collector, Amreli), Shree Virajibhai Thummar (Sansad, Amreli) honoured the celebration. 
Shree Vallabhabahi Bhagawanbhai Vora was the firm devotee and blessed soul. He had played a vital roll in the construction of Temple. Just few days back he left for Akshardham. In the pious memory of Shree Vallabha Bapa, his son Shree Pravinbhai Vallabhabhai Vora (US) was the chief Yajman of the Mahotsav. Shree Vinubhai Gobarbhai Babariya, Shree Jagdishbhai Bhikhabhai Babariya, Shree Mansukhbhai Gigabhai Buha, Shree Devshibhai Shamjibhai Nakarani, Shree Rameshbhai Bhagawanbhai Vora, Shree Rasikbhai Vallabhbhai Vora were the co-Yajmans of the Mahotsav.
Thousands of devotees from various villages, towns, cities and abroad took Bhojan-Prasad.
Concluding the celebration Pujya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami addressed the assembly of volunteers. Swamiji explained the importance of services with inspiring examples of Shree Krishna, Hanumanji, Arjun and Dada Khachar. He also recommended for the unity and harmony in all occasions of village for the betterment of all concerned. Many volunteers accepted the Satsang, renounced the addiction if they had and took on the rosary with holy hands of Pujya Swamiji.
Pujya Madhavapriyadasji Swami addressed the assembly at village Vadera and Dahida.
