International Peace Research Association (IPRA) organised an International Peace Conference – 2018 at IIM Ahmedabad during 24 – 28 Nov. 2018. Over 150 peace activists from 58 countries participated in this Peace Conference.
IPRA is working since 1964 across the world and many countries of Asia, America, Europe, Africa continents are the member of IPRA, working for the harmony and peaceful co-existence of various cultures across the globe and coordinate for Peace Conferences regularly in various countries.
This year Ahmedabad was designated by IPRA for International Peace Conference.
During the conference, this delegation visited the SGVP and greatly impressed with the various activities concerning harmony, humanity, education & culture under the vision and guidance of Guruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami.
On the closing day of the conference, IPRA appreciated & awarded with Creator of Peace Ambassadors award to Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam (SGVP) along with Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad Management Association & Swarnim Startup Innovation University for Preservation of traditional values, unique work in value based education, cultivation of harmony among various cultures across the world.
Dr. Katsuya Kodama (Secretory, IPRA) & Dr. Mukundbhai Patel (Founder, Foundation for Peaceful Change) granted this honour to SGVP. On behalf of Pujya Swmiji, Shree Bhaktivedantdasji Swami accepted the honour with gratitude.
