With the inspiration of Guruvarya Pujya Swami Shree Madhavapriyadasji, various religious and social service activities are carried out through Shree Swaminarayan Sanatan Mandir in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
As part of these service activities, blankets were distributed to needy people in the cold of winter. Pujya Dharmapriyadasji Swami, Pujya Sarvamangaldasji Swami, and the leaders of the Sanatan Mandir organization distributed blankets and God’s Prasad to the needy people residing in the ‘Old Savannah City Mission’ in Savannah.
The people there were very moved by this service of saints and volunteers and thanked the organization a lot.
શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ સનાતન મંદિર સવાનાહ-અમેરિકા દ્વારા ધાબળા વિતરણ
ગુરુવર્ય પૂજ્ય સ્વામી શ્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજીની પ્રેરણાથી અમેરિકાના જ્યોર્જિયા રાજ્યના સવાનાહ શહેરમાં શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ સનાતન મંદિર દ્વ્રારા અનેકવિધ ધાર્મિક, સામાજિક સેવાપ્રવૃત્તિઓ ચાલે છે.
એ સેવા-પ્રવૃત્તિઓના ભાગરૂપે શિયાળાની ઠંડીમાં જરૂરિયાતમંદ લોકોને બ્લેન્કેટ વિતરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. પૂજ્ય ધર્મપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામી, પૂજ્ય સર્વમંગલદાસજી સ્વામી તથા સંસ્થાના આગેવાનો દ્વારા સવાનાહમાં આવેલા ‘ઓલ્ડ સવાનાહ સીટી મિશન’માં નિવાસ કરતા જરૂરિયાતમંદ લોકોને ધાબળા તથા ભગવાનનો પ્રસાદ વહેચવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
સંતો તથા સ્વયંસ્વકોની આ સેવાથી ત્યાંના લોકો ખૂબ ભાવવિભોર થયા હતા અને સંસ્થાનો ખૂબ આભાર માન્યો હતો.
