Rushikumars and saints of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay secured the first position in State Level Sanskrit Competition organised by Sanskrit Sahitya Academy, Gandhinagar held at Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Vadtal during 05 – 07 Nov 2015. In the prize distribution ceremony, in the holy presence of HH Acharya Maharaj Shree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj, Hon. Governor Shree O P Kohali, Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and other dignitaries, winner Mahavidyalay was awarded with ‘Vijay Vaijayanti’ a winner trophy.
In all 220 participants have participated in 28 competitions like elocution & Shalaka contests in Nyay, Mimansa, Vyakaran, Jyitish, Vedant, Sankhya, Dharma Sahstra, Sahitya along with contest in Shastra Charcha, Dhatu Path, Amar Kosh, Antyakshari, Samaya Purti etc.
With 11 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, SGVP stood first among all Sanskrit Mahavidyalayas from Gujarat State. All participants with gold medals will represent the state in National Level Sanskrit Competition.
