Shreemad Bhagawat Parayan was arranged at Shree Kutch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple, East London during 20th July to 26th July, 2009.
Shree Arvindbhai Kalyanbhai Vekaria, Shree Laljibhai Kalyanbhai Vekaria family and Shree Premjibhai Devshibhai Dhanjibhai family were the Yajmans of this Bhagawat Latha Parayan.
Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami narrated the Katha eruditely. Shastri Bhaktivedantdasji Swami also delivered few topics of Bhagawat Katha. Shree Krishna Janm-Utsav, Annakut Leela were celebrated devotionally during the Katha.
Shree Niranjanbhai Pandya graced with a Kirtan-Sandhya and alumni of Gurukul presented cultural programmes.
Both the Yajman families expressed the feelings of pleasure and Satisfaction. Bhiajan Prasad was served during the Katha.
In the tradition of devotion, during the summer season devotes serve the God with the dress made up of Sandalwood to minimize the hotness and to generate the cooling effect.
With the inspiration of Pujya Madhavpriyadasji Swami, such special dress was offered to Shree Ghansyam Maharaj twice, during the Katha. The sandalwood paste was sent from Gurukul Ahmedabad. This was probably the very first occasion in UK to offer the Sandalwood dress to Ghansyam Maharaj. Yajman families and all devotees, participants took the privilege of this divine Darshan in great extent.
