During the past educational journey SGVP had acquired the CITA accreditation for standard I to VII. For the further approval senior executives of ‘Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation’ (CITA) recently paid an official visit to SGVP International School, Ahmedabad on 20th – 21st February, 2006.
Dr. Randy Sinisi (CITA Associate Executive Director) & Dr. Gregory J. Maffet (CITA Regional Director, Middle East) were warmly welcomed in Indian traditional way by garlands, Kumkum Tilak and recitation of Vedic chants.
CITA visitation team was welcomed by the President Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Chairman Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji, CEO Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami and Dy. CEO Prof. Shankerbhai Patel.
In the welcome function they saw the students perform in a variety of traditional folk dances.
During the span of visitation they also enjoyed the cultural presentations of students, football match on green lush sport ground, horse riding, cart journey and pleasant visit to Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Gaushala and other locations. Both the doctors were highly impressed by the infrastructure, educational learning programme and sports facilities in spiritual atmosphere.
To get accredited it is necessary to maintain 12 strict accreditation standards to measure the quality level of the school. The standards emphasize areas of excellence in teaching methodology, curriculum, governance/management as well as Health, Hygiene, Safety etc. Only when these standards are met or exceeded that accreditation is granted.
Dr. Ravindra Trivedi and Dr. Anjali Trivedi accompanied and briefed these executives about SGVP mission that combines Sports, Science and Spirituality.

CITA Associate Executive Director was highly impressed with the all-round methodology for the best perfection. Mr. & Mrs. Trivedi deserve the honour.
