Every year ‘Darshnam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay’ of SGVP attains new heights of success. A contest of ‘Sanskrit Elocution’ at state level was organized at Suryapur Pathashala – Surat from 28th to 30th August, 2005 in which 108 contestants of 18 Sanskrit Schools have taken part. An elocution was conducted in which out of eight subjects of scriptures in four subjects gold medal, silver medal in two and bronze medal in two subjects were secured.

In ‘Shalaka’ competition, three students had taken part in three subjects, in which Joshi Vijay got a gold medal in Nyaya. Vyas Tushar Secured gold medal in Vyakran and Vyas Harivansh received silver medal in Sahitya. On the subjects of ‘Shalaka’ contest one has to show the overall deep performance in entire syllabus of respected subject and has to face unlimited questions.
Vyas Harivansh secured gold medal in the competition called “Sasmsya-purti’’ Make the Slog.” Eleven saints and students of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay participated in three types of contest and each and every one got victory which has put the name of Gurukul at the height of fame. On bases of highest points they also won the ‘Darshanam Vijay Vaijayanti’ trophy.
Six contestants who secured gold medals will represent Gujarat at National level competition.
Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami extended their thanks and blessing to Acharya Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, teachers and winners.
