Pujya Balkrishnadasji Swami

Pujya Balkrishnadasji swami was initiated on 21 April, 1967. After realizing his capacity to lead and motivate the saints and devotees as well, his spiritual Guru, Pujya Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmjivandasji Swami assigned him duties of being the Chief Coordinator saint at the upcoming, new Gurukul at Ahmedabad in 1976.

It was, then, the second branch of the Rajkot Gurukul. The amount of tasks to be completed, liaison with government for various approvals, seeking support from devotees and Gurukul well wishers, establishing new contacts with the local authorities, monitoring the undergoing construction, the work was paramount; but Pujya Swamiji never looked back and now we cherish the fruits of the hard efforts put-in by him.

He is the saint whose determined efforts, observing every small detail minutely so that there are no deficiencies and motherly care for everyone who comes in his touch has played a major role in progress of SGVP and Ahmedabad Gurukul. Pujya swamji takes keen interest in all the day-to-day functions of the campus.

Under his expert guidance, the SGVP and Ahmedabad Gurukul have rapidly grown in academic, social and spiritual sphere. Loaded with lots of responsibilities, Swamiji’s absolute devotion, penance, and motherly care for all really inspires us.
