Pilgrimage, a journey to sacred places is one of the pious traditions of Indian culture. Every Indian has a keen desire to visit the shrines at least once in a lifetime. These are the pious places where incarnations, great saints and devotees have performed numerous divine deeds. Pilgrimage (Yatra) of such places inspires a lot spiritually and in life as well. Yatra along with holy saints adds divinity in the experience.
Rushikumars of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, SGVP and students of Gurukul Ahmedabad desired to have the Yatra of holy places of North India with Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami. Their desires came into fruition when from May 2nd to 22nd, 2008 all 22 devotees and four saints performed the pilgrimage of Shamalaji, Jaypur, Shreenathaji, Agra, Gokul, Mathura, Vrundavan, Kashi, Alhabad, Ayodhya, Chhapaiya, Naimishharanya, Hardwar, Rushikesh, Kedarnath, Badrinath.
This was an immensely memorable experience for all participated and especially all students will cherish throughout their life.
