On the pious birth-place of Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami, at Taravada along with PTC and B.ed Collage, several spiritual activities are going on with spiritual fervor. Like every year on the auspicious day of Makar-Sankranti, 14 January, 2006 a devotional celebration took place with various religious features.
225 hours incessant Dhoon: In accordance with celebration, from 4th January to 14th January 225 hours incessant dhoon was performed enthusiastically. This is the 225th year since Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan blessed this earth with His divine appearance.
175 Bhaktachintamani Parayan: This year is also the 175th year of most significant scripture Bhaktachintamani written by Sadguru Shree Nishkulanand Swami. In accordance with it, saints and 175 devotees personally recited the whole Bhaktachintamani in its tune. Daily they recited for 12 hours and completed 175 Parayan in three days.
Vishnu-yag: A Vishnu-yag was also arranged for three days. Shree Viththalbhai Padhara (Ahmedabad), the Yajman of the celebration got the benefit of this Vishnu-yag.
1008 group Mahapooja : In accordance with the forthcoming ‘Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav’ group Mahapooja for 1008 devotees was organised. Devotees from several villages took part in Mahapooja and in all 1430 group Mahapoojas were performed devotionally.
Pujya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami explained the importance of Mahapooja and performed the Vidhi of Mahapooja with great zeal. Shree Shivalalbhai Bhanderi (Taravada), Shree Bhikhabhai Sutariya (Surat), Shree Babubhai Patel (Mumbai) got the advantage of Yajman-ship for this group Maha-pooja.
Gau-poojan: It is of much importance to do Gau-poojan on the pious day of Makar-sankranti. A project for Gau-poojan and Gau-seva in five hundred villages was started from this celebration. Under this project, all five hundred villages will be supported financially for Gau-poojan and Gau-seva.
New VCDs on Vachanamrut explained by Pujya Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami and narrations given by Pujya Shastri Shree Harinarayandasji Swami were published by holy hands of Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami.
Aishwaraya Darshan Bhavan: In the assembly after the Maha-pooja, Pujya Purani Shree Krishnapriyadasji Swami described the details of Temple which is under-construction ‘Aishwarya Darshan Bhavan’ and ‘Shastriji Maharaj Smruti Khand’.
In the basement hall, portraits and statues will show the various inspiring life events of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj. In the ground floor hall, presentation of divine and miraculous charitras (divine deeds) of Shreeji Maharaj will show the superiority powers of Shreeji Maharaj. On the first floor, in marvellous throne, Pratishtha of Shree Ghanshyma Maharaj and Thakorji, worshipped by Pujya Shastriji Maharaj with capitulated nature, will be done.
On the second floor Bal-sanskar Bhavan for children and Vignan Bhavan with scientific modules will work for development of kids and teenagers. Inspiring events of child devotees will be exhibited in Bal-sanskar Bhavan.
Two huge domes, one central dome and another over the throne along with eleven small domes, eleven small dome templates, eight balconies and 54 artful windows will decorate the Aishwarya Darshan Bhavan. 44 crafty arches and 54 pillars will show the statues of saints and devotees from surrounding villages of Amareli district.
Pujya Purani Shree Dharmavallbhdasji Swami recommended for taking part in Mantra-jap, Mantra-lekhan and Mahapooja in accordance with the coming ‘Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav’.
In the blood donation camp 96 bottles of blood were collected.
Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami showered on devotees their blessings.
