The provinces of Nagher and Babariyavad are the regions of devotees with firm dedication and devotion towards Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan and His saints. Pujyapad Sadguru Shree Shastriji maharaj and Pujya Shree Purani Swami Shree Premprakashdasji Swami wandered from village to village and even at the huts of shepherds in Gir and inculcated the values and traditions of Satsang in their noble heart and life. And devotees have dedicated themselves in foundation and development of Gurukul in every aspect.
In this regain of mountains and rivers the festival of Jal-zilani Ekadashi is celebrated by Gurukul in the vibrant atmosphere of great pleasure. Like every year saints visited the villages for Satsang and on 23 September, 2007 a grand festival was celebrated on he bank of river Machhundri in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.
Rugnathpur, Samadhiyala, Hemal, Mota Manasa, Kovaya, Pati Manasa, Nigala, Jamka, Timbi, Shana Vankiya, Naliyeri Moli, Nana Samadhiyala, Pataper, Pan-khan, Umej, Salva, Rabarika, Pipariya, Motisar, Vadli, Kandhi, Bhacha, Ambada, Kansari, Bandharada, Vadli, Mobatpura, Nagadiya, Dhokadava, Juni Vajdi, Juna Ugala, Navi Vajdi, Vavrada, Khilavad, Vadaviyala, Jaragali, Gir Gadhada, Fareda, Babariya, Sanvav, Umedpura, Harmadiya, Dron, Itavaya, Fatsar are the villages where saints performed Satsang Vicharan.
Droneshwar Mahadev is an ancient shrine where Pratishtha of Lord Shiva is done by Dronacharya, the famous Guru of Pandavas. Till today there is continuous natural pouring of water on Shivaling throughout the year.
At this pious place in the divine presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji and under the guidance of Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami, thousands of devotees from villages of Nagher region and from Rajkot, Junagadh, Ahmedabd, Surat, vadodara, Mumbai participated with utmost enthusiasm & devotion. Shree Bhupendrabhai Chudasama (Agriculture Minister, Gujarat) was the chairperson of the festival. Shree D G Zalavadia (Collector, Amreli), Shree T G Zalavadiaya (Deputy Commissioner, Ahmedabad) were the chief guests of the festival. Many other dignitaries of province participated in this holy event of Jal-zilani.
Celebration started with the Pujan of Thakoraji and river Machhundri with the holy hands of Pujya Shastri Shree Harivallabhdasji Swami (Chief Kothari, Junagadh Temple) and Pujya Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami. It was followed by the ritual of floating of Thakorji in boat on the water of river.
Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji bestowed his divine Darshan and performed the second Arati of Thakoraji and also sat in the boat with Thakoraji. He also extended his blessings to the Chairperson, Chief Guests, Yajmans and all devotees.
Pujya Shastri Shree Harivallabhdasji Swami delivered the occasional speech and students of Gurukul Ahmedabad and Bal-Yuvak Mandal from Nagher presented various Raas. Pujya Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami delivered inspiring speech and explained the importance and divinity of this celebration.
Being a part of this divine occasion, Shree Bhupendrabhai Chudasama expressed his pleasure. As a agriculture Minister he also explained the better beneficial projects for farmers.
Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami also delivered relevant speech and congratulated all participants that in spite of continuous rain participated with utmost devotion and shaped the celebration with grand success.
As a part of social service, a blood camp was also arranged.
In spite of heavy rain over 15,000 devotees took part in this celebration from villages of Nagher, towns & cities of Gujarat and Mumbai.
Simultaneously all four Araties were performed and various Thal were offered to mThakoraji. In the end all devotees served with Maha-prasad of Ekadashi.
Shree D K Shah, Mumbai (in the pious memory of AN Ghanshyambhai D Shah), Shree Sandeep Kumar and Shree Dhimant Kumar, Una (in the pious memory of AN father Shree Pradeep Kumar Jivandas Shah), Shree Karshan Bapa Padashala, Una (in the pious memory of AN Shree Vasharambhai Vallabhbhai Padashala) were the Yajmans of this grand celebration.
