In the establishing year of Gurukul Ahmedabad, Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami bestowed it with one grate tradition of Satsang – Gyan Satra. As every year in the month of Shravan, Gyansatra was held during 28 July to 03 August.2009 in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.
In the pious memory of AN Shree Priyakantbhai Kanjibhai Hirani, AN father Shree Kanjibhai Karasanbhai Hirani and AN Mother Shree Radhaben Kanjibhai Hirani Shreemad Bhagawat Katha Parayan was arranged by Shree Pushpaben Priyakantbhai Hirani and Hirani Pariver (UK, Village – Bharasar)
Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami narrated the Bhagawat Katha eruditely. Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhakrtiprakashdasji Swami narrated the the Katha of Mahatmya (importance) of Shreemad Bhagawat Puran. Shastri Shree Bhaktivedantdasji Swami and Shastri Shree Vedantswarupdasji Swami also delivered the Katha on few topics of Shreemad Bhagawat Puran.
Pujya Purani Swami Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami delivered the inspiring speech on ‘Bhaj-Govindam’ stotra.
In the beginning of Gyansatra a Shree Hari Yag was performed by all Yajmans at SGVP.
As per the Agnya of Shreeji Maharaj in the Shikshapatri, the Shiv Poojan was performed by Dr. Vipulbhai Patel (Ahmedabad). Both the rituals were carried out by learned Pandits of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, SGVP.
Pothi Yatra was arranged from the home of co-Yajman Shree Jayantibhai Patel (Ahmedabad).
Four book written by Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami were published in presence of Shree Suresh Dalal, famous author.
During the Katha Parayan Shree Ram Janmotsav, Shree Krishna Janmotsav and Annkut utav were celebrated. Cultural programmes by students of Gurukul, Lok-Sahitya, Thakar Thali were the other attractions of Gyanstra. Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji blessed all Yajmans and participants.
