આ વર્ષે કોરોના મહામારીના પ્રકોપથી લોકડાઉનને કારણે ગુરુપૂર્ણિમા મહોત્સવ SGVP ગુરુકુલમાં, ગુરુવર્ય શાસ્ત્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામીની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં, ફક્ત સંતોની હાજરીમાં તા. ૫ જુલાઇ 2020 ના રોજ ઓન-લાઇન ગુરુપૂર્ણિમા મહોત્સવ ઉજવાયો હતો.
This year due to Covid 19 pandemic the Gurupurnima festival was celebrated in the presence of Pujya Guruvarya Sadguru Shastri Madhavpriyadasji Swami at the SGVP Gurukul. Only saints were present during the assembly.
પ્રસંગના પ્રારંભમાં ગુરુવર્ય શાસ્ત્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામી, સદ્ગુરુ પુરાણી સ્વામી શ્રી ભક્તિપ્રકાશદાસજી સ્વામી, સદ્ગુરુ પુરાણી શ્રી બાલકૃષ્ણદાસજી સ્વામી, સદ્ગુરુ પુરાણી શ્રી હરિસ્વરૂપદાસજી સ્વામી – ચારેય સદગુરુ સંતો પધારતા, સંતોએ તથા વિદ્વાન શ્રી રામપ્રિચજીએ વેદગાન સાથે પૂર્ણ કુંભથી સ્વાગત કર્યુ હતું.
At the beginning of the festival at the time when Sadguru saints arrived, Pujya Rampriyaji chanted Ved gaan and he felicitated all Sadguru saints with holy Poorna-Kumbh.
ત્યાર બાદ ગુરુવર્ય શાસ્ત્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામી, સદ્ગુરુ પુરાણી સ્વામી શ્રી ભક્તિપ્રકાશદાસજી સ્વામી, સદ્ગુરુ પુરાણી શ્રી બાલકૃષ્ણદાસજી સ્વામી, સદ્ગુરુ પુરાણી શ્રી હરિસ્વરૂપદાસજી સ્વામીએ ભગવાનની પ્રસાદીભૂત પાદુકા, વ્યાસ ભગવાન રચિત ચારેય વેદ અને ગુરુ પરંપરામાં શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજશ્રી ધર્મજીવનદાસજી સ્વામી, પુરાણી પ્રેમપ્રકાશદાજી સ્વામી અને પૂજ્ય જોગી સ્વામીની ચિત્ર પ્રતિમાને ચંદનની અર્ચા કરી ગુરુ પૂજન કર્યુ હતું.
ત્યાર બાદ સર્વે સંતોએ ગુરુવર્ય શાસ્ત્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામી અને સદગુરુ સંતોનું હાર પહેરાવી પૂજન કર્યુ હતું.
Sadguru saints did poojan of Shree Hari’s Chakhadi. Sadguru saints also did poojan with sandalwood paste on the photos of Pujya Sadguru Sashtri Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami, Pujya Sadguru Purani Shree Premprakashdasji Swami and Pujya Shree Jogi swami. Then all saints did poojan of Guruvarya Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Sadguru saints.
પ્રાસંગિક પ્રવચન કરતા પૂજ્ય સ્વામીજીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે ગુરુના ગુરુતો ભગવાન છે. ખરેખર તો ગુરુપૂર્ણિમાં એટલે વ્યાસ પૂજનનો દિવસ. ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા એટલે ભારત વર્ષની સંત પરંપરાને વંદન કરવાનું મહાન પર્વ. સમગ્ર દેશમાં અનેક પર્વો ઉજવાય છે. તેમાં ગુરુપૂર્ણિમાનું પર્વ ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિનું શિરમોડ પર્વ છે.
Pujya Swamiji narrated the significance of Gurupurnima and described that guru’s guru is Bhagwan Shree Hari Himself. He said that the Gurupurnima day is the day of paying homage to Bhagwan Ved Vyas. He also said that the Gurupurnima means paying homage to the entire lineage of Gurus of Indian heritage. He also said that the Gurupurnima day is the supreme among holy days.
વ્યાસ ભગવાને શ્રીમદ્ ભાગવત, મહાભારત આદિ ગ્રન્થોની રચના અને વેદોના ચાર ભાગ કરી ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિને જીવંત રાખીને વિશ્વના ગુરુ સ્થાને મૂકી છે. એવા વેદ વ્યાસ ભગવાનના ઋણને ભારતીય પ્રજા ક્યારેય ભૂલી શકે તેમ નથી. આજનો દિવસ એ ઋણ સ્વીકારનો અને કૃતજ્ઞતા વ્યકત કરવાનો દિવસ છે.
Bhagwan Ved Vyas created holy scriptures such as Shreemad Bhagwatam, one of the eighteen Purans and Maha-Bharat. He also divided Vedas into four parts, in this way he kept Hindu culture intact. This is the day to free ourselves from that indebtedness towards him.
સદગુરુનો મહિમા સમજાવતા પૂજ્ય સ્વામીજીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે સદગુરુ મળે એ તો મહત્વનું છે, પરંતુ એમનો નાદ ઝીલાય એ ખૂબ જ મહત્વનું છે. ખરેખર એ નાદ નથી પણ અમૃતનો વરસાદ છે. એ નાદ મુમુક્ષુના જીવનને ધીરે ધીરે પ્રકાશે છે.
Pujya Swamiji also said, to get Sadguru in one’s life is indeed very important but to follow his words and live our lives on those teachings are more important. These are not mere words but this is the rainfall of nectar for ascetic. These words of Sadguru rejuvenate an ascetic from inside.
આ પ્રસંગે પુરાણી ભક્તિપ્રકાશદાસજી સ્વામી, પુરાણી બાલકૃષ્ણદાસજી સ્વામીએ પ્રાસંગિક પ્રવચન કર્યુ હતું.
On this occasion Pujya Purani Swami Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami and Pujya Purani Balkrishnadasji Swami gave blessings.
ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા પ્રસંગે SGVPની વિશાળ યજ્ઞશાળામાં, સવારે ભગવાન વેદવ્યાસ તથા તેમના દ્વારા રચિત – ચારેય વેદો, વ્યાસ સૂત્ર અને અઢાર પુરાણોનું પૂજન કરી પૂજ્ય સ્વામીજીએ, સાંપ્રત સમયમાં પણ વિશ્વને જ્ઞાનનો પ્રકાશ આપવા માટે સક્ષમ ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિના જ્યોતિર્ધર એવા ભગવાન વેદ વ્યાસનું મહત્ત્વ સમજવ્યું હતું.
In the SGVP campus on this day in Yagna shala Pujya Swamiji did Poojan of Vedas, Vyas Sutra and eighteen Puranas composed by Bhagwan Ved Vyas. Even today’s modern world these scriptures show us the true path towards God and enlighten us with abundant knowledge. Pujya Swamiji described the importance of Bhagwan Ved Vyas and his contribution to Indian Culture and how it is relevant in today’s time.
