As per the Agnya of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan in Shikshapatri to help the victims during natural calamities, Gurukul Parivar always extends the help during every such incident and provides the relief in every possible ways without partiality of any caste or religion.
Currently in many areas of Saurastra (Gujarat) due to heavy rain, flood has ruined several villages. Grievous flow of water has destroyed many homes and pet animals too. With the Agnya of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadaasji Swami and under the guidance of Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami, Gurukul Parivar has started immediate help with the relief kit consisting Wheat flour, rice, pulses, ghee, oil, stove, kerosene, candle, matchbox / lighter, enough to sustain a family for 8 to 10 days. Clothes and blankets are also provided for protection. Over nine tons of relief material is distributed and still going on.
Gurukul Parivar provides relief work on mass scale and still many regions are there to seek the help. Rehabilitation work in great extent is also an extreme necessity in the affected areas. Survey for the same is also going on to plan the rehabilitation projects.
