Deepavali, one of the major festivals of Indian heritage and Hindu culture was celebrated by Gurukul Parivar with various occasional events and celebrations.

The Day of DHAN TERASH, is for the worship of Goddess Lakshmiji and also for the Danvantari Bhagwan, God of Health & Ayurveda.
On 09 Nov 2015, with the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, Vaidyas – doctors of Ayurveda, from the city Ahmedabad were invited and performed the Dhanvantari Yagna with the recitation of Vedic Mantra along with the offering of various kinds of Herbal medicines. Which in turn, keeps atmosphere free from germs, bacteria and viruses of many disease.
A presentation was also displayed showing the various service faculties of Shree Jogi Swami Holistic Centre, starting shortly. Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami explained the science of Ayurveda treatment. Vaidyas providing the services to Amrutarogyam – SGVP Ayurved clinic were honoured and blessed by Sadguru saints.

Chopada Poojan &Annakut Darshan : 11 Nov 2015
On the auspicious day of Deepavali, day was started with the ritual of Chopada Poojan. Devotees participated in this Poojan and Pujya Swamiji explained the importance of ritual of Chopada Poojan. It was followed by marvelous Darshan of Annakut. Pujya Purani Swami and Pujya Swamiji performed Aarti of Annakut.

Deepotsavi Celebration: 11 Nov 2015
Diwali evening was colourful with delighting lighting and joy. Ambience of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Ahmedabad was decorated as described in 6th Vachanamrut of Kariyani which is on the day of Deepavali. Event was celebrated with Deepavali kirtans, Raas, Katha-Varta and ended with joyful firework.
