A Bhakti-satra was held at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Navi Mumbai – Vashi during April 1st to 9th, 2006. In accordance with forthcoming Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav, Anushthan of Bhaktachintamani was performed during the Bhakti-satra by saints and devotees in morning as well as evening session.
On the pious day of Ram-navami, Shreehari Jayanti Abhishek of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj was performed with Pamchamrut, Kesar-jal, Tirth-jal, various herbs and fruit juices along with the Vedic recitations. Abhishek was followed by Shungar-Arati.
The day was celebrated with the incessant Dhoon from 09:00am to 07:00pm.
On this auspicious day of Shreehari Jayanti, the Pratishtha of Shree Shiv-Parvati, Shree Vighnavinayak Dev and Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev was done with Vedic rituals. Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami performed the Pratishtha Arati.
Devotees got the advantage of Kirtan Bhakti performed devotionally by a famous singer Shree Rajendrabhai Pala.
At the time of Pragtya, Arati was performed to celebrate the birth of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj. In a pious atmosphere devotees enthusiastically participated in the ‘appearance day’ celebration.
On April 9th, Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami blessed the devotees in the monthly assembly.
On the day April 10th, Rudra-abhishek was performed and poojan of Shivaji was done with 1.25 lakhs Bilipatra.
Chaitra Poonam, the sacred day of Hanuman Jayanti i.e. April 13 was celebrated with a Maruti-yag and group recitation of Sunder-kand was performed.
Along with saints Shree Chetanbhai Sheth, Shree Bhupendrabhai Maheta, Shree Dineshbhai Ghandhi, Shree Jayeshbhai Sheth, Shree Vikrambhai Gandhi and other devotees performed the services enthusiastically to carry out the Bhakti-satra with great pleasure and devotion.
