Vekaria family from Baladiya – Katch presently receding at East London is a very blessed family of Sadguru Shree Shastriji Maharaj and Purani Swami Shree Premprakashdasji Swami and Pujya Shree Jogi Swamiji and Pujya Shree Ghanshamjivandasji Swami Bhuaj-Katch.
In the pious memory of father AN Shree Kalyannbhai Dhanjibhai Vekariya and mother AN Smt. Amarbai Kalyanbhai Vekariya family arranged for the Bhagawat Katha at Shree Katch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple, East London (UK).
Shree Arvindbhai Vekariya and Shree Laljibhai Vekariya were the Yajmans of this Katha Parayan in the pious memory of their parents. Sons-in-law Shree Harjibhai Vishrambhai Hirani, Shree Naranbhai Kanjibhai Raghavani, Shree Parabatbhai Kanjibhai Mepani and Shree Devjibhai Naranbhai Hirani also participated in this holy ritual.
On April 02, poojan of Thakorji and Pothi was performed by Yajman family and Pothi-yatra arrived at SKSS Tempe. After the Poojan and Arati narration of Katha was started.
Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami delivered the Katha very eruditely and explained various symbolic events satisfactorily.
During the Katha Shree Krishna-Janmotsav was celebrated on April 05. Moreover devotees took the privilege of Kirtan-Bhakti in the last session of the day. On April 06, alumni of Gurukul and Youths presented various cultural programmes and inspiring presentations like kits, Kavvali, Raas, mimicry etc.
On the day of Poormahuti, April 08 after the completion of Katha, Yajmans performed the poojan of Thakoraji and Pothiji and expressed the feelings of pleasure and satisfaction. Shree Shamjibhi Kanjibhai Vekariya, President of SKSS Temple, East London and other devotees and members of Yuvak Mandal participated enthusiastically to carry out this holy occasion.
Devotees in huge number participated very enthusiastically from various regions of the country.
During the Katha Bhojan-Prasad was served to all participants.
