It was a long demand of Haribhaktas to have a Gurukul in Vadodara due to the strong presence of large base of student community which could avail the benefit of Satsang.
With the inspiration of elder saints For almost 4 years Shastri Shree Premswarup Swami and saints from Surat-Gurukul used to visit Vadodara for spreading spiritual activities by conducting Dhun, Kirtan & special discourses during the Satsang – Sabhas.
It was also a long desire of all devotees to have a Gurukul mainly to spread & nourish the Satsang-movement in & around Vadodara.
By the grace of Lord Shree Swaminarayana Bhagawan, a Nagar Grihastha who is devoted to educational welfare of society, inspired by the various activities of Shree Swaminarayana Gurukul-Rajkot, donated land on national high way for a noble cause of establishing a Gurukul in Vadodara for the benefit of all.
