On the auspicious day of Vachanamrut Jayanti, 22nd Patotsav (Annual Pratishtha Mahotsav) of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj was celebrated at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Ahmdeabad on Nov 22, 2017 in the pious presence of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, Pujya Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami, Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishandasji Swami, Saints students and devotees.
Day was started with scriptural ritual of Shodshopchar Pooja, Abhishek with Panchamrut, Tirth Jal, various fruit juices & Kesar Jal.
It was followed by the Poojan of Vachamrut scripture. Pujya Swamiji explained the importance of Vachanamrut. In the end a delicious Annakut consists of Sweets, fried dishes and fruits was offered to Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj.
As every time, the entire Annakut of over 1000 Kgs was distributed among poor localities, schools of blind and mentally retarded children.
વચનામૃત જયંતી ના શુભ દિવસે તા. ૨૨ નવેમ્બર ૨૦૧૭ ના રોજ શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ ગુરુકુલ, અમદાવાદ ખાતે શ્રી ઘનશ્યામ મહારાજનો ૨૨ મો પાટોત્સવ સદ્ગુરુવર્ય શાસ્ત્રી શ્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામી તથા પુરાણી સ્વામી શ્રી ભક્તિપ્રકાશદાસજી સ્વામી, પુરાણી બાલકૃષ્ણદાસજી સ્વામીના સાનિધ્યમાં ઉજવાયો હતો.
વહેલી સવારે, શ્રી ઘનશ્યામ મહારાજના ષોડ્શોપચાર પૂજન અને પંચામૃત, તીર્થજળ, વિવિધ ઔષધિઓ અને ફળોના રસ તથા કેસરજળ થી અભિષેક કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
ત્યાર બાદ સભામાં, વચનામૃત જયંતી નિમિત્તે વચનામૃત ગ્રંથનું જનમંગલ મંત્રોચ્ચાર સાથે તુલસીદલથી પૂજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. પૂજ્ય સ્વામીજીએ વચનામૃત ગ્રંથનું જીવનમાં મહાત્મ્ય સમજાવ્યું હતું.
અંતમાં ઠાકોરજીને વિવિધ મીઠાઈઓ, ફરસાણ અને ફળોનો અન્નકૂટ ધરાવી આરતી ઉતારવામાં આવી હતી.
ભક્તિ મહિલા મંડળના બહેનો દ્વારા તૈયાર થયેલ આ ૧૧૦૦ કિલોના અન્નાકુટનો તમામ પ્રસાદનું પૂજ્ય સ્વામીજીની પ્રેરણાથી ગરીબ વિસ્તારો તેમજ અંધજન અને દિવ્યાંગ બાળકોની શાળાઓમાં વિતરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
