8th Annual Pratishtha Utsav of Shree Ram – Shree Shyam & Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj along with Shakotsav was celebrated on the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami 04 Feb 2014. Vasant Panchami has the peculiar importance for Gurukul PArivar as HH Shastriji Maharaj re-established the ancient Gurukul tradition in Shree Swaminarayan Sampraday on this auspicious day of Vasant Panchami at Rajkot, with the holy hands of Sadgur Manad Swami Shree Krishnajivandasji Swami.
Abhishek of Shree Ram – Shree Shyam & Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj was performed with Panchamrut, Panch Gavya, Kesar-Jal, Tirth-Jal, Herbal juices, fruits juices and flowers along with Vedic recitations.
It was followed by the groundbreaking ceremony for the pavilion at large cricket ground of SGVP. Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami Sadguru Pujya Purani Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami, Sadguru Purani Shree Shreeharidasji Swami and Saints laid a foundation stone for the pavilion to develop the facilities of the playgrounds to international standards.
As Vasant Panchami is the Day of Shikshapatri Jayanti, recitation of Shikshapatri and Pooujan of Shikshapatri was performed by Sadguru Pujya Purani Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami, Sadguru Purani Shree Shreeharidasji Swami and all saints & devotees.
Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami graced the ceremony with telephonic blessings.
Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami and Purani Shree Shreeharidasji Swami delivered the occasional speech and Pujya Purani Swami blessed the all participants nad Yajmans of the Celebration.
Devotees enjoyed the Abhishek Darshan, Shikashapatri- Path and Poojan, Annkut Darshan, Religious discourses & blessings and Shakotsav.
