Cleanliness Movement (Safai Abhiyan) – 12 Aug ’07
A Safai bhiyan (under ‘Nirmal Guajarat’ Movement) was performed on the first day of Gyansatra. With the guidance of Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami students and devotees swept the roads and cleaned the public places in the surrounding areas of Gurukul. In this movement Mrs. Madhuben Patel (Chair-person, Ahmedabad Corporation standing Committee) also participated with the group of Mahila-Manch.Padharamani at Yajaman & Co-yajamans

Rajopchar Vidhi – 12 Aug ’07
In the beginning of Gyansatra a Rajopchar (Royal offerings) Pooja of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj was performed according to Panchratra-Shastra. Entire ritual was carried out under the guidance of learned Pandits of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay. Under this ritual various royal services were offered to Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj. Along with recitations from four Vedas, Scriptures, Stotra, Ashtaks, Music, Nrutya, Chhatra, Chamar. Vyajan, Mirror etc were offered. Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji also bestowed his divine presence and performed Maha-Mangal Nirajan (Maha-Arati). Pujya Swamiji also blessed the Yajmans, Co-Yajamans and devotees.
During the Gyansatra Kath on Shreemad Bhagawat will be narrated. All Yajmans performed the Poojan of chief orator Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami and co-orators Shastri Shree Bhaktivedantdasji Swami and Shastri Shree Vedantswarupdasji Swami.

Along with regular Bhagawat Kath Parayan various famous orators delivered inspiring speeches. On 13 August, Shree Labhshankarbhai Purohit (erudite orator and lecturer on Bhagawat and other scripture) delivered speech on the topic ‘Message to Youths from Bhagawat’.
In the last session of the day students of International School & Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, SGVP presented various cultural programmes like welcome song, group dance, skit, speech, Yoga, Bhagara etc.

Every morning Rishikumars of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay performed Vedic recitations for an hour. It was a great devotional experience of all devotees.
In the afternoon session renowned orator of Bagawat Puran Shree Rameshbhai Oza blessed the occasion with his holy presence. Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji blessed him for devotional and scarified life towards propagation of message of Bhagawat. Shree Rameshbhai narrated the speech on the importance of Bhagawat Puran as an eternal and successful medicine to get rid from painful cycle of re-birth& re-death.
In the last session of the day a famous folk-artist Shree Bhikhudanbhai Gadhavi entertained the devotees with cultural, inspiring and striking presentation.
On account of his bright, inspiring and fruitful career in the propagation of folk-literature, Indian culture and social moral in India and across the world Shree Bhikhudanbahi is recently honoured with ‘Pujya Ravishankar Maharaj award’. On this cheerful occasion Gurukul family also took the privilege to honour him with ‘Prashshti Patra’ and shawl of honour. With this other renowned associations also honour shree Bhikhudanbhai Gadhavi.

15 August, the independence day of India was started with salutation to the National flag and presentation of patriotic programmes at SGVP in presence of students of SGVP and Gurukul Ahmedabad, teachers and saints.
At Gurukul Ahmedabad under the banner of 31st Gyansatra the day was started with the inauguration of blood donation camp and Eya-camp as a part of Gurukul services to society. Blood donation camp was arranged in association with Ahmdabad Red Cross Society and Lions club Ahmedabad with the minimum target of 103 bottles of blood as this the 103rd year of divine lifespan of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji. But all Gurukuil services result in greater result, this camp was also ended with the collection of 182 bottles of blood. In the eye-camp Dr. Rajeshbhai Luvana Dr. Minakshi Patel served 118 patients.
Mahila Manch
During noon time a Mahila Satsang Sabha was arranged by Mahila-Manch in the holy presence of Sankhya Yogi Shree Bhanubem from village Dudhala and Sankhya Yogi Swami Kantaben (Amreli). Miss Namswini Pandya, daughter of famous Bhagawat orator Shree Bhupendrabhai Pandya narrated the inspiring speech on topic ‘awareness of female from Bhagawat’.
Pujya Sankhya Yogi Shree blessed her for bright and devotional life. In the end Sankhya Yogi Shree blessed all particients.
Pujya Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami eruditely explained the 70th Vachanamrut of Gadhada first canto. Devotees in huge number from Rajkot, Junagadh, Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai, various villages, towns and cities highly impressed with the explanations.

In the afternoon session Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji bestowed his divine Darshan and blessed Yajamans, donors and all participants of Gyansatra.
In the last session of the day, various cultural Raas were presented by a famous group of Raas from town Porbandar. This group of folk-dance has traveled many countries across the world under the leadership of Shree Ranaji and Shree Rajubhai, alumni of Gurukul. They presented a well known Maniyaro-Raas of Mer locality, Dhaal-Talavar Raas (Raas with the sword and armor in hands), presentation of Talavar-dav and Lathi-dav (a skill of self protection with sword and stick among the enemies in war). Entire stage show was very impressive and delightful.

Purani Shree Darshanpriyadasji Swami and devotees. Along with regular Katha Parayan, in the evening session Pujya Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami narrated the Katha of Krushna-Janm-Utsav. Birth ceremony of Bhagawan Shree Krishna was celebrated with great joy and pleasure.
In the last session of the day marvelous ‘Sangit Sandhya’ was arranged with master musician of classical music.
Sangit Sandhya was started with the dual presentation of flute & Tabala. Pujya Krishnajivandasji Swami & Shreyansh Dave played flute and famous Tabala player Shree Nakul Mishra contributed on Tabala. It was followed by the presentation of Sarangi. There are rare players of Sarangi now a days. Sarangi was the favorite musical instrument of Sadguru Shree Premanand Swami. Famous Ustad Nimmudin Khan and his group of Musician presented classical Sarangi along with various melodies and songs. Sangit Sandhya was a spectacular experience of original classical music.

In the morning session Purani Shree Madhavjivandasji Swami narrated the Katha describing the childhood Charitra of Bhagawan Shree Krishna.
In the afternoon session Annakut lila was described and a marvellous Annakut was arranged with delicious dishes prepared by devotees. Moreover Shree Yogeshbhai Shastri, a renowned orator of Shreemad Bhagawatam also narrated the divine occasion of ‘Raas-Panchadyayee’ eruditely.
Shree Keshubhai Patel (Ex. CM, Gujarat) was attended the Katha and expressed the feelings of satisfaction and pleasure. He also stated that Gurukul is a source of spirit for education as well as for the society too. Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishandasji Swami also delivered the occasional speech.
Pujyapad Shree Jogi also blessed Shree Yogeshbhai Shastri, Shree Keshubhai Patel, Yajmans, donors and devotees. Pujya Swamiji perfromed the Arati of Annkut.
In the last session of the day, students of Gurukul Amhedabad performed the astonishing presentation of cultural programmed including various Nrutya, patriotic stage show, songs, dialogues, regional & religious presentations like Bhagada, Kavvali etc. Performance was highly eye-catching.

In the morning session Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami narrated the Katha of Shreemad Bhagawat.
During the Gyansatra every day 02:30pm to 03:30pm Kirtan Bhakti was performed with great zeal of devotion. Kirtans on various topic and of different melodies were sang by saints, students and devotees.
In the afternoon session famous Bhagawat Katha orator Shree Hemangbhai Shastri narrated the Katha on Divine Darshan.

The last session of the day was very devotional and delightful. Nizam family from Delhi is the famous Kavvals (Kavvali singers) from generations. For Gyansatra they were invited to present the programme of Kavvali. The presentation was highly impressive and delightful sowing the original performance of Kavvali. They also played the Kavvali created by Nand saints.
Students of Gurukul Ahmedabad also presented Kavvali. Nizam Kavvals were highly appreciated the performance of students.Nizam Kavvals, saints enjoying the Kavvali presented by Students. In the end students were encouraged with blessings.

On the day of Purnahooti, after the the completion of Bhagawat Katha, Pujya Purani Swami and Yajaman family performed the Poojan of Shree Harikrishna Maharaj and of Shreemad Bhagawat Puran. Rushi Kumars recited the Vedic Stotras. Poojan of Samhita Parayan was also performed.
it was followed by the Poojan of orators and saints by Yajaman families. Pujya Purani Swami blessed all Yajamans and all devotees participated in this Gyansatra. Pujya Purani Shree Balkrisnadasji Swami also delivered the occasional speech. After the Arati of Purnahooti Pothi of Shreemad Bhagawat Puran was returned back by Yajaman families to the prayer hall and Gyansatra was concluded. It was followed by the Maha-Prasad. Thousands of devotees took the Maha-Prasad. Devotees from Rajkot, Una, Junagadh, Himmatnagar, Vapi, Surat, Amreli and various villages, towns & cities of Gujarat and Mumbai, Nagpur, Hyderabad etc enjoyed the Gyansatra with great pleasure and expressed the feelings immense happiness & satisfaction.
