The 2nd annual Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Radha Krishna Dev and Shree Lakshminarayan Dev was celebrated at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Navi Mumbai during November, 07th to 13th, 2006.
Poojan with 1.25 Laks Tulasi-Akshat & Mantra, Samhita Parayan of Scriptures of Sampraday, Katha on Shikshapatri, Abhishek, Annakut, Mahila Manch, Bhaktachintamani Yagna were the salient features of this Pratishtha Mahotsav.
The first day of the celebration was started with Poojan of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Harikrishna Maharaj and other Dev. Saints and devotees participated in this Poojan. Along with the recitation of Janmangal Mantra, Poojan was performed with the offering of Tulasi petals and Akshat (Rice). During the festival this poojan was continued in the morning as well as evening daily.

The second salient feature was the Samhita Parayan of various scriptures of the Sampraday. Learned Brahmins from Rajkot and other places were appointed for this Parayan. On 07th November morning Samhita Parayan was started with the Poojan of scriptures and the Brahmins reciting the same. Vachanamrutam, Bhaktachintamani, Shreemad Satsangi-Jivan, Hari-Lilamrut, Shree-Harilila-Kalptaru, Shree-Hari-Vakya-Sudhasindhu, Shree-Hari-Digvijay, Shree-Hari-Charitramrut-Sagar, Shree Gopalanand Swami ni Vato, Shree Gunatitanand Swami ni Vato, Nishkulanand Kavya are the scriptures recited during the celebration. Daily in the morning and evening session this recitation was conducted.
Mahila Satsang Shibir was held from 09th to11th November, during 03:30 pm to 06:30 pm. Inspiring discourses and activities were presented during this camp. On 11th November evening a Jal-Yatra was arranged by Mahila Manch. Pious water was brought in Kumbh and Kalash for the purpose of Abhishek. Jal-Yatra was welcomed and holy water was kept worshipped.
Katha on Shikshapatri was held during 11th to 13th November. Pujya Shree Ghanshyamjivandasji Swami and other saints delivered the inspiring Katha on Shikshapatri which is the code of conduct for the followers of Shree Swaminarayan Sampraday and for any seekers seeking for ultimate salvation from the cycle of birth & death.
On 12th November a Bhaktachintamani Yagna was arranged. Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami performed the former Poojan and placed the holy fire in the Yagna-Kund. In the Bhaktachintanmani scripture, the group of cantos describing the penance (Tapshchrya) and divine deeds of Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan during His wandering in forest is known as ‘Shantipath’. In this Yagna, Ahuties were offered with the recitation of each verse of this Shantipath. In the second session female devotees also participated in this Yagna. In the evening, Purnahuti of Yagna was held. Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Pujya Purani Shree Dharmavallabhdasji Swami and other saints offered the last Ahuti and Arati of Yagna-Purnahuti was performed.
It was followed by the Purnahuti of Samhita Parayan. Pujya Swamiji and other saints performed the Poojan of all scriptures and also blessed all Brahmins reciting the scriptures. Pujya Swamiji blessed all devotees and Yajmans of the celebration for devotional and prosperous life.
On 13th November, morning after the prior Poojan, Abhishek of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Radha Krishna Dev, Shree Lakshminarayan Dev and Shree Harikrishna Maharaj, was performed by elder saints along with the recitation of Vedic Stotras and Janmangal Stotra. Abhishek was done with Panchamrut, Kesar-Jal, Chandan and various fruit juices. Abhishek was followed by the marvellous Annakut of delicious dishes. Pujya Swamiji performed the Arati of Annakut.
After the Darshan of Annakut, devotees took the Bhojan-Prasad.
