શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ ગુરુકુલ વિશ્વવિદ્યા પ્રતિષ્ઠાનમ્ (SGVP) અમદાવાદ દ્વારા કાર્યરત દર્શનમ્ સંસ્કૃત મહાવિદ્યાલય દ્વારા માગશર સુદી એકાદશી તારીખ ૩ ડિસેમ્બર, ૨૦૨૨ના રોજ ગીતા જયંતિની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી હતી. પરમ પૂજ્ય ગુરુવર્ય શ્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામીની પ્રેરણાથી ગીતા જયંતિના દિવસે મહાવિદ્યાલયના આચાર્યો, ઋષિકુમારો તથા સંતો દ્વારા પ્રાતઃકાળે સંપૂર્ણ ભગવદ્ ગીતાનું સામુહિક ગાન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
ત્યારબાદ ભગવદ્ ગીતાજીનું પૂજન તથા મહાઆરતી કરવામાં આવી હતી. આ પ્રસંગે આચાર્ય શ્રી શ્રીહરિજીએ ભગવદ્ગીતાનો મહિમા સમજાવતા જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ભગવાન શ્રીકૃષ્ણએ અર્જુનને ઉદ્દેશીને કહેલી આ ગીતા આપણને આજે જીવનમાં ડગલેને પગલે માર્ગદર્શન આપે છે અને મોક્ષમાર્ગે માર્ગદર્શન આપે છે. ગીતાજીના કોઈ એક જ શ્લોકને પોતાના જીવનમાં જો અનુસરવામાં આવે તો જીવન ધન્ય બની જાય છે.
આ પ્રસંગે સત્સંગ વિચરણ કરી રહેલ પૂજ્ય સ્વામીજીએ ટેલિફોનથી ઋષિકુમારોને ગીતાજીનો મહિમા સમજાવતા જણાવ્યું હતું કે આપણે હંમેશાં શુદ્ધ ઇરાદા સાથે ભગવત આરાધન રુપે કર્મ કરતા રહેવું જોઇએ. કર્મ કરવાનો આપણો અધિકાર છે, પણ ફળ આપવું તે તો ભગવાનના હાથમાં છે. અંતર્યામી ભગવાન હમેશા જીવોના ઈરાદા-આશય પ્રમાણે ફળ આપે છે. કૌરવો અને પાંડવોના ઇરાદાઓ વચ્ચે આકાશ પાતાળનો ફેર છે. પાંડવોનો ઇરાદો હંમેશા શુદ્ધ રહેલો છે જ્યારે કૌરવો બદ ઇરાદાથી ભરેલા છે. એટલે જ અંતે પાંડવોની જ જીત થઈ.
Celebration of Bhagavad Gita Jayanti
Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, run by Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratisthanam (SGVP) Ahmedabad, celebrated Geeta Jayanti on Magashar Sudi Ekadashi on 03, December 2022. On the inspiration of Param Pujya Guruvarya Shree Madhavapriyadasji Swami, on the day of Gita Jayanti, the Acharyas, sages, and students of the Mahavidyalaya sang the complete Bhagavad Geeta in the morning.
After that, Bhagavad Gita was worshiped and Maha-aarti was performed. On this occasion, Acharya Shree Shreehariji explained the glory of the Bhagavad Gita and said that this Geeta spoken by Bhagwan Shree Krishna to Arjuna guides us today in life and guides us on the path of salvation. If a single verse of Gitaji is followed in one’s life, life becomes blessed.
On this occasion, HH Swamiji explained the glories of Geetaji to the Rishikumars over the telephone and said that we should always do the work as Bhagavat Aradhana with pure intention. It is our right to do karma, but it is in God’s hands to give fruits. Antaryami Bhagavan always gives fruit according to the intention of living beings. The intentions of the Kauravas and the Pandavas were entirely different. The intentions of the Pandavas were always pure while the Kauravas were full of evil intentions. That’s why the Pandavas won in the end.
