Dhanur Mas, a month favored to acquire the knowledge and wisdom in Indian tradition. This was the time when Bhagwan Shree Krishna and Balramji learned 64 Vidyas in the Gurukul of Rishi Sandipani. The scriptures are the very source of knowledge and wisdom for the welfare of all living beings in universe.For the listening of scriptures and to spread the helping hand with the celebrations of various events, this Dhanur Mas is especially recommended by scriptures.

Shree Hari Jayanti Mahotsav

The month of Chaitra deserves great importance in Indian tradition as it bears the birth day of many saints, leaders and even incarnations of God. As the birth day of Bhagawan Shree Ramchandra and Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan fall on the same day Gurukul family celebrated the festival with various religious, social activities.

Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav Raipur(Chhatis Garh) ( 10 to 12 Dec.-2005)

Chhatisgarh is one of the developing and mineral-rich states of India. A gorgeous Hari-temple was constructed in its capital city Raipur by the help of local devotees and Haribhaktas staying abroad.

The rituals of Pratishtha was conducted in the presence of Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and other saints of Gurukul from 10th to 12th December’05

First Pratishtha Mahotsav - Gurukul Mumbai ( 17 to 24 Nov.-2005)

During 17th Nov. 2005 to 24 Nov. 2005 the first Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Lakshminarayan Dev & Shree Radhakrishna Dev at Gurukul Mumbai was celebrated along with various spiritual and social activities.

With the blessings of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swami, Pujya Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji and Pujya Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami Mahotsav was guided by Pujya Purani Shree Krishnaswarupdasji.

Dharmajivan Yuva Shibir & Sant Shibir - SGVP

Dharmajivan Yuva Shibir was organised on 4th, 5th and 6th Nov. ’05 at SGVP in the holy presence of Pujya Shree Jogi Swamiji, with the inspiration of Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, blessings of Pujya Balkrishnadasji Swami and under the guidance of Pujya Dharamvallabhdasji Swami. This Shibir was conducted with an intention to nourish the spirituality and to boost the virtues of obedience.

Divine Darshan

According to Indian almanac the month of Vaishak and Jeshta are considered to be the months of summer. During this period the heat of summer is at its climax. Especially, during such summer time the devotees of Bhakti Sympraday offer to God the dresses made up of sandalwood paste and flowers just to provide a comfort of cooling. The Darshan of God in these dresses is divine and attractive. In Gurukul and temples the dresses made up of sandalwood paste and flowers are offered to Ghanshyam Maharaj and deities.
