Puran Parayan & Religious Tradition

After performing Pooja, Purani Swami Shree Balkrishnadasji addressed that the decision of the conducting the group recitation of these Purans has been taken by Pujya Sadguru Shashtri Shree Madhavpriyadasji to preserve our Vedic heritage. He expressed his hope that Rishikumars – students of Sanskrit Mahavidyalay would give us opportunity to hear the gist of Puranic Katha.
Sadguru Purani Shree Gyanswarupdasji recommended to fructify efforts by becoming a real Bramhin and Purani in true sense. Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji told that Pujya Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharamjivandasji Swami was always conducting Yagna-Parayan. By reviving that memory he told that the students of Sanskrit Vidhyalaya should make the efforts of saints successful by shaping the life with the help of Upanishadic views.
Shree Laljibhai Vekaria (London), Dr. Vipul Patel (London) and Shree Ramubhai Desai (Mumbai) had taken the advantage of it by becoming Yajmans of Parayan.
Every morning the Poojan of Ghanshyam Maharaj was done during Chaturmas by the students of Sanskrit Vidhyalaya with chanting Vishnu Sahashtranam and offering Tulsi leaves. Along with it the chanting of ‘SAM-VED’ is done daily for half hour. During the year the five-yagnas are conducted on the days of two Ekadashis, Sud Naum (Hari-Jayanti), bright and dark fortnight at spacious Yagnashala SGVP by learned Pandits. Devoted seekers get their desires fulfilled by taking part in it as Yajman.
