SGVP Trophy 2011

In order to promote Cricket at school level and provide the contemporary cricketing experience similar to Indian Premier League (IPL) and Champion League to budding cricketers, and provide continuous flow of the emerging talent to the National & International level, the Cricket Gala of SGVP Trophy- I, All India Day Night Cricket Tournament -2011 was organized by SGVP Sports Academy at the onset of the new cricket season in the lush green cricketing venue of SGVP from 15th Oct, 11.

State Level Sanskrit Competition

Rastriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi and Sanskrit Akadami, Ghandhinagar arranged the state Level Sanskrit competition in association with Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, SGVP and Sandipani VidyaNiketan, Porbandar during September 23 – 25, 2011 at Sandipani VidyaNilketan, Porbandar.
Inauguration was held in the holy presence of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Shree Rameshbhai Oza (Sandipani Vidya Niketan, Porbandar)on 23 Oct. 2011.

Param Pujya Jogi Swamiji’s Aksharvas
Akhand Bhagwat-Parayan Pujyapad Shree jogi Swami Shree Hariprakashdasji Swami went to Akshardham on August 28, 2011 evening 07:07pm Sunday at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Ahmadabad at the age of 107 years in the presence of saints, students and devotees.
His holy body was kept for the last Darshan at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Ahmadabad for three days. Thousands of devotees of Gurukul Parivar from India and abroad, social dignitaries, spiritual leaders, political persons took the benefit of divine Darshan of Pujya Jogi Swamiji.

NIR Children Camp

It was long awaited by the parents at abroad to arrange for the camp to inculcate the Indian culture and the traditions of Sampraday in the children who born and brought up in foreign countries. Finally with the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji swami, a training camp was arranged for the NIR children at SGVP during 01-15, Aug 2011.

Guru Poornima

Guru Poornima, a unique festival for the disciples to pay homage towards the Guru, a personality of compassion making the disciple to meet the God. This tradition is established by the Rishies, sculpturers of great Indian culture to express the reverence towards Bhagwan Ved Vyas, the very source of knowledge for the welfare of all beings on the earth.

Rath Yatra

On the auspicious day of Rath Yatra, Ashadhi Bij, Gurukul Parivar celebrated the Birth day of Sadguru Shastri Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami, the founder of Gurukul tradition, in the unique way of singing Bhajan, Jap, Anushthan and Satsang. Moreover, saints, students and devotees performed incessant Dhoon and organized a Satsng Sabha.

Satsang Yatra, Africa

With the blessings of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, on the compelling invitations of devotees from countries of Africa, Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami are on the Africa Satang Yatra along with Pujya Krushnajivandasji Swami, Shastri Shree Vedantswarupdasji, Pujya Govindprasaddasji, parshad Shree Atmaram Bhagat and Parshad Shree Ghanshyam Bhagat.
Besides the Spiritual discourses, Katha Parayan, Hindu lifestyle Seminar, were the salient features of Satsang Yatra.

Pushpadolotsav, Gurukul Ahmedabad, 2011

Pushapdolotsav, a festival of new flowers of spring encourages all living beings with freshness, beauty and fragrance for diligence towards progress. Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan adorned the celebration with the devotional affect and Gurukul continued the Tradition on the footprints of great saints.On March 20th, 2011 at Gurukul Ahmedabad Pushpadolotsav was celebrated in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.
