Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya
|
Ancient Indian system of education comprised of Gurukul system, wherein the masters called Rishis provided education to students, who had to stay away from their home with their masters at some natural surroundings.
The peculiarity of this system of education was that here the principles where learnt not only by memorizing but by implying them in day to day life. The emphasis was laid upon the development of practical wisdom rather than accumulation of information.

Enlightened by the success of re-living the ancient system of education, Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami the horizons and established ‘Darshanam’ Sanskrit Mahavidyalay in June 1998 with the blessings of Pujya Shree Jogi swamiji with the vision ‘To be a centre of excellence in Vedic studies and to be a foundation for reinforcing the patriotism in its students’.
Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay's curriculum heavily emphasizes traditional Sanskrit scriptures, it also includes all the modern subjects such as Information Technology, Mathematics, Sciences and World Studies.
Shastriji Maharaj's planted seeds are growing into a glorious tree named Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya where studies, sports and spirituality are combined.
